Emotional Fairytale Wedding at Sleepy Hollow Inn | July 5th, 2025


Kassidy and Jake's wedding day was nothing less than a fairytale. They celebrated their joyous union with their favorite people at their colorful and emotional wedding at Sleepy Hollow Inn in Huntington, Vermont. The couple planned a day filled with personal touches, from a dramatic floral arch to intentional moments with family and friends. From start to finish, their celebration captured their spirits, wrapped in joy, love, and the breathtaking scenery of Vermont.


The Venue: Sleepy Hollow Inn | Huntington, Vermont


Just a short drive from Burlington, Vermont, Sleepy Hollow Inn is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues in the state. It’s an ideal choice for couples who value sustainability, love the outdoors, and want an intimate celebration in a truly unique setting. The pondside ceremony site is especially lovely, and the nearby covered pavilion serves as both a great rain backup and a perfect spot for cocktail hour. For the reception, the distinctive two-level round barn offers plenty of space for dining and dancing. The property also provides countless photo opportunities, from wooded hiking trails to the pond and their charming swing.



Emotional Fairytale Wedding at Sleepy Hollow Inn | The Story


Kassidy and Jake began their day at Sleepy Hollow Inn, getting ready with their respective wedding parties and, surrounded by their family members. Kassidy looked stunning in a romantic gown with a separate arm-sleeve top, while Jake was equally dapper in a handsome suit from McNeil & Reedy.


The ceremony took place next to the pond at the Gazebo, where Jake got incredibly emotional seeing Kassidy for the first time as she walked down the aisle. After the ceremony, the couple enjoyed quality time spent with their loved ones for group portraits, and then snuck away to hang out with their rescue dog and get some photos with him too!


Their reception was warm and filled with color, with lots of laughter over shared meals, and a beautiful choreographed first dance on the pavilion--complete with a princess lift and a picture-perfect lift-spin. It was truly a fairytale moment! The couple then got down with their favorite people and danced the night away, eating gelato for dessert and ending the night with a sparkler exit.
