How do you describe your photography style?
I aim to shoot in a dark, cinematic, and true-to-life color style. Deep greens, dark shadows, and dramatic landscapes are the pillars of my work. The natural landscape is as much of a part of your day as the vendors and decor you choose—I aim to create a sense of place and capture the beauty of the natural landscape as it's own character in your story. I focus on capturing candid moments, dynamic portraits, and cinematic imagery.
Should I opt-in for a second shooter?
Second photographers are a great resource if you are looking for lots of coverage of the day. They are especially reccomended if you want every single moment captured, have dual events happening in your timeline, or want photos of each member of your guest list.
What if there's inclement weather for the date of our session?
I'm always happy to reschedule a session in case of poor weather, but I encourage my clients to embrace the unpredictability of nature and go with the flow! Sometimes the most magical photos come out with the worst weather. Especially if you are looking for a moment straight out of "The Notebook."
