Nerdy and Fun Harrington Farm Winter Wedding | February 17th, 2024


Alice and Josh put their full personalities on display for their cozy winter wedding at Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts. The couple brought together family and friends from all over the world to celebrate together for a full wedding weekend, starting in Boston and ending in Princeton. The couple planned a day filled with personal touches, from a stuffed animal altar to lego flowers as decor. Their day was a true reflection of their personalities, with every moment brimming with laughter and their love for each other.


The Venue: Harrington Farm | Princeton, Massachusetts


Located on the western slope of Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, Massachusetts, Harrington Farm is a stunning venue with beautiful landscaping and sunset views. With beautiful vintage interior getting ready spaces and a classic reception space with cathedral ceilings, it's the perfect place to host a warm winter wedding.


Harrington Farm Winter Wedding | The Story


Alice and Josh began their day at hotels in Boston, getting their hair and makeup done with family and friends. Alice looked stunning in a princess-style gown complete with custom white Converse, while Josh wore a handsome grey suit and matching Converse, embroidered with their wedding date.


The ceremony took place in the reception barn at Harrington Farm, where the couple decorated their altar with stuffed animals, lego flowers, and pictures of them and their pets. The couple were each walked down the aisle by their parents, and the ceremony included various traditional elements: the Chinese bows of respect to their elders and parents, and the Jewish ceremony of breaking the glass. After the ceremony, the couple ran outside in the cold to catch the sunset for couples portraits.


The reception was a feast for the senses, with delicious food catered by Harrington Farm and fun lego flowers on every single table. There was a wooden puzzle with pieces for each guest to sign as their guest book, and red envelopes for notes of well wishes and financial contributions for the couple's new journey into marriage. The couple held their first dance, followed by emotional dances with their parents. During the festivities, Alice and Josh donned cat ears and had a photo op with giant cutouts of their cats that Alice designed!
