Summer Mountain View Vermont Wedding | July 27th, 2024


Missy and Matt embraced the height of summer by celebrating their love with a colorful and unique wedding at Mountain Top Resort in Vermont. The couple planned a day filled with personal touches, from crystal crowns and embroidered veils to first dances to a vinyl record. Matt and Missy met on a dance floor in Brooklyn on New Years Eve--and wanted their day to be a true reflection of their personalities, with every moment brimming with love, passion, and beautiful mountain views.


Summer Mountain View Vermont Wedding | The Story


Missy and Matt began their day getting ready at their respective locations: Matt at the Jewel (after playing a quick game of disc golf) and Missy at the main inn. Surrounded by immediate family, Missy wore an ethereal dress with cape sleeve veils that were hand-embroidered. She donned a gold crystal crown to match the crystals throughout their decor. Matt was equally dapper in a green suit and dark floral tie.


The ceremony took place at the Knoll, where they had a crystal warming ritual, beautiful readings, and a barefoot ceremony. After a tearful vow exchange and a delightful ceremony, the couple enjoyed their cocktail hour on the patio with family and friends.


The reception was an ethereal celebration, with vibrant and lush florals, fairy lights, and white drapery. Guests enjoyed the chocolate favors from renowned chocolatier Frederic Loraschi, unique dessert table, and After the Tone guest book recordings. The couple ended their evening by switching into slippers and enjoying their crystal-topped cake.
