VINS Fall Foliage Wedding | October 5th, 2024

Rebekah and Tyler embraced the magic of peak foliage in Vermont by celebrating their love with an intimate October wedding at VINS Nature Center in Vermont. The couple planned a day filled with personal touches, from Rebekah wearing her grandmother's necklace to their custom wedding newspapers at their reception. Their day was a true reflection of their personalities, with every moment brimming with joy, love, and the beauty of fall foliage in Vermont.

The Venue: VINS | Quechee, Vermont

Located just outside of Woodstock, VINS Raptor and Nature Center is one of my favorite non-traditional wedding venues in Vermont. The property features rescued raptors (owls, hawks, you name it!) as well as a canopy walk through the trees, a fire pit, fields, and the Pavillion for reception activities. The venue offers picturesque spots for photos, like the dramatic canopy walk and observation tower which takes you up above the trees to see views of the forest and nearby wetlands. VINS is ideal for celebrating with loved ones, providing a perfect blend of DIY and natural whimsy.

VINS Fall Foliage Wedding | The Story

Rebekah and Tyler began their day at nearby Airbnb's in Woodstock, surrounded by their bridal parties while they wrapped up bouquets, and got their hair and makeup done. Rebekah looked radiant in a long strapless wedding gown with beaded detailing, while Tyler was equally dapper in a dark brown suit.

The ceremony took place at the North Universalist Chapel Society in Woodstock, where emotional vows and prayers from family and friends creating a warm and welcoming ceremony lit by the golden sun coming in through the tall windows. After the ceremony, the couple hosted family photos and some just married portraits in the church.

The reception was fun and casual affair, with tacos provided by a food truck vendor and lots of dancing and dessert. Guests loved the Newlywed News that the couple put together with stories from their relationship, and Rebekah and Tyler ended the evening with dancing, cookies, and cake.
